Not Everything Needs a Case Study
Before product design leadership, there was a lot of graphic design. Logos for small businesses, illustrations for fun, lettering studies, posters, packaging for homemade egg nog. Some of it was paid client work, some of it was practice, and some of it exists purely because making things is the whole point.
None of these pieces warrant a full writeup, but together they show the craft foundation that everything else is built on. Consider this the flat file drawer of the portfolio.
Marks and Identity
Logo and identity work spanning veterinary software, physician consulting, a falconry equipment brand, and the Kajabi mark I designed during my time there.
Illustration and Lettering
Personal pieces in a traditional tattoo style, plus type experiments drawn for no client but myself.
Print, Packaging, and Pixels
An infographic poster on Everest, a label for a very potent batch of homemade egg nog, and a glitch portrait experiment.
The tools change, the titles change, but the itch to make things stays the same.
